thoughts

- does anyone actually EAT cream of mushroom/chicken/celery soups? you know, not as cooking additives, but as actual SOUPS? i don't see much point in creating a label showing the stuff in a bowl with a little sprig of parsley and a spoon, when most of the free world is clearly using cream of mushroom soup as a means of concocting more green bean casseroles.

i'm just saying.

- when you drive around a blind corner, please do not position yourself in THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, ignoring the nation's general rule of You Stay On Your Side And I'll Stay On Mine, forcing me to come to a COMPLETE stop, pretending that I'M the moron, giving ME the dirty look. hey, SCREW YOU TOO, LADY.

- i'm slowly beginning to wonder if i actually called anyone at ALL on sunday. i left voicemails with several people that evening, and not a one has returned my call. just another reason to doubt my sanity.

someday

i will write something interesting here. someday. for now, this is all i got.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people will not feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not in just some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically
liberates others.
