actually, i think it's an accent grave (pronounced "grov" for those who haven't studied french)...i don't know how to make one on here, but it's the one that slopes downward from right to left.

i'm sorry if this seems brash or arrogant. it's a bad habit i'm trying to break...constantly correcting grammar...i can't help it.
