That is awesome. I can't say I've ever tried that instead of water while cycling, but maybe that person is on to something....

it was definitely not a water bottle. green glass, long skinny neck, bottlecap. wish i'd had my camera.

well, beer does contain electrolytes (not unlike gatorade).

when i did the 3-day walk, my walking partner and i joked that, instead of alternating water and gatorade, we should alternate water and beer. :)
