i unintentionally failed to consume any soft drinks today. i'm not sure which is worse: the headache, or the realization of what is causing it.

it's my goal to quit drinking pop altogether. i don't need the sugar, and i need to increase my water intake.

great news on the headache? um, thanks...

note the unintentional bit. i've taken to not ordering the stuff at restaurants... not to be healthy [well maybe a little], but for the fact that it's silly to pay almost two dollars for something that's sitting in my fridge and costs me about a quarter.

don't worry, there will always be a dr pepper supply at chez mdog. :)

DR PEPPER is a gateway drug. I used to not drink soda at all, just because... why bother? Anyway, it's time for a new banner says the pot to the kettle.

i love dr. pepper, too. and cherry pop. especially when i eat mexican (which, for me, is mostly either taco bell or chipotle). guess i have to cut out da bell, too. chipotle, i feel, is at least a bit healthier, but still not something to have too terribly often.

ten pounds . . . that's what i'm going for. good to know, mar! i'm also going to ramp the workouts up a notch. walk three miles a few times a week, do a little weight work, maybe take a pilates class. it's gonna be cutting out the sugars that'll be hard, though.
