dark and stormy

it sounds like it's actually raining horizontally against my windows.

one of the books i picked up today is about the infamous "dark night of the soul"... i hope this isn't foreshadowing of some sort.

thunder, lightning. this would be a good time to shut down the computer.

That was a crazy storm. It actually WAS raining horizontally. I know because I was stuck at a bar waiting for it to stop so I could walk home.

every great thinker seems to go through a dark night of the soul. just make sure you have some good people who will be there for you through it and you'll end up ok.

aw, man. i was afraid someone would get worried about me.

for the record, no dark night of the soul happening here. but i think the concept and the experience is an important one to acknowledge and to talk about. it fascinates me... hence the reading. but you do make very good points.
