i've heard about the problems, and the guy i work with has just upgraded on his mac, and had to revert back to version 6. but i've got to say, itunes 7 has been nothing but great for me. i love the gapless songs, and the new style of the interface. it's been problem free for me so far!

reaaaaaally. have you tried to import songs from cd, perchance? run normal applications and such? just taking a survey. maybe every one out of one thousand gets a bug-free version or something.

I just downloaded it but haven't installed yet. Glad I read this ... I'm going to do some research first.

All I can say, however, is that iTunes is absolutely amazing ... I can actually bypass much of the censorship in China with podcasts and tv shows to see what's actually happening in the world!

i even tried reverting to 6, but couldn't get it to read my playlist built in 7. ended up reinstalling. waiting impatiently for the next "upgrade".
