There's a part of me that's disturbed by the police and other government officials actively working to block people's right to protest (see this), but I'll admit that it's pretty hard to work up any kind of emotion other than joy when reading about what happened in Brandon.
I think the best thing we could do is just pass a law or amendment making it illegal to protest funerals specifically. That would avoid any infringement on valid political speech and would let us keep these assholes away from grieving families without violating the Constitution.
I'm very happy to see this. As some of there MORONS were are my friends funeral. We were lucky however to have the "Patriot Guard" at his funeral, which numbered in 1000, which far out weighed the protesters!
