yep, this is where the last post was going. but i'm realizing i don't really have anything to write about it. i mean... i cultivate deep relationships, i experience love, people tell me i'm basically awesome. what gives? maybe i just get confused easily. either that or i need to invest in some skimpy clothes. other than that, i'm out of ideas.

never-mind.
just had this conversation with my bff of 25+ years on monday night. she'll be 30 in october & has never had a serious relationship (or even much of a frivolous one for that matter). her tendency to hold people at arm's length is a giant barrier, which is odd since she's a social worker.
i won't get into mine. no matter what the outcome with s, i won't regret knowing that i can be my real true self with someone else, even if it can't be repeated in the future.

next time you are going to a party where there are people you don't know, but your friends know...i recommend drinking more than usual.
